I've mentioned my project for putting an Rx7 rear axle into my
MGB, thus getting an LSD and disc brakes.
The axle is at the shop to get narrowed by 8 3/8 inches (a little
narrower than stock so as to fit 240Z wheels). In about two weeks
I should be able to put everything in.
A friend stopped by today to go to lunch. When he pulled into the
driveway we noticed steam coming from his heater hose. We took the
B to lunch and were on our way to the parts store after lunch.
I was letting him drive when my rear universal joint dissassociatated
itself.
If it could have held on two more weeks, it would have been replaced
anyways. I'm teaching at Thunderhill next weekend and don't want to
be stuck driving my lumbering 1st gen Rx7.
Arrghh, I was going to try to bring my house up to health code today.
