I have a 948cc, 1962 Midget basket case that I have been moving from home to
home for the last 8 years. It's currently sitting under wraps in the field
next to my barn. My 15 year old son has finally convinced me its time to get it
on the road. (I should have known that was coming).

To get the project started I need some help (and maybe a few drinks!)
Could anyone who has restored a 62 direct me to some good reference manuals,
perhaps a shop which can rebuild the engine and transmission, and a reputable
parts supplier in the States.

I've also heard there is a conversion that can be done, removing the engine and
transmission and replacing them with a newer Toyota engine and a 5 speed
transmission (to the purists out there, please forgive me).
Is anyone familiar with this option?

I'd also like to know when the MG show at Carlisle is to be held.

Thanks in advance
