Floor pan replacement

Just getting ready to start a restoration project on a 1974 Midget.  I have
never tackled a project like this before and I have a ton of questions.  The
car needs new floor pans and that seems like the place to start (I
think???).  Could anyone recommend any books, etc. that I could get my hands
on that would help lay out the restoration process.  I am not interested in
restoring to car show quality, but I want it to look and run good.  Any
comments or direction would be appreciated.
