Just a brief rave.....lovely weekend, took the B up to the Mountains via
Bell's Line (lovely twisting bits....) and stayed with some friends.
Beautiful weather, great roads, car running magnificently.....

And hey, if you've ever just read the two lines in Peter Burgess' book that
states (paraphrasing slightly) "if your rear muffler has no wadding left in
it, you loose gobs of power, but only above 4500 revs", boy, does it make a
difference!!!

Thought, well got to be worth a try......the car was running out of steam
above 4500. What a difference!!!
Never would have thought it.....

But as for LBC spotting, how's this for a variety for one
weekend..........just on the roads, not at anything special.....

1600 A, red, top up (wimp!)
> - 76 or 77 RBB, US spec, converted to RHD
> - 1950 Riley RMC (very rare)
> - Jag XK140 FHC, white
> - MB 190 roadster (not an LBC, but absolutely beautiful anyway)
Jag E-type, series 2, FHC, white
- Lotus Super seven
- Bugeye sprite
- Morgan 4/4
- Series 3 AH Sprite

The only thing missing was all the MG's ..... where was everybody?
Even saw MX-5's with the tops down.......

cheers....
