Thanks to all who responded, and so quickly too! My methods need to
change considerably along with the products I use. Never even thought
about the water in the alcohol not being good (too used to beer being
good for you) until Kelvin mentioned it.
So now it's off to the parts/paint store for POR, OSPHO, Extend,
Prepsol, Oxisolv etc. depending on what I can find around here.
Plenty of spots on the 77 to test each one several times. hehehehe
Will try to keep records and let you know what happens over the next
couple of months. Thanks again.
