Well Steve, looks like you're the man. I would, and I am sure others would,
like to see pictures on the web. So don't beat yourself up doing it, but if you
get a chance why don't you let this list know if it gets done.

I'm now going to dig up this weeks addition of the JC Witless catalog and go
shopping.

Thanks for the input.

Something I know about!!!!
I just install an Audiovox CSS-100 cruise control in my '79 B w/ ZS carb.
Immediately took a trip to Lake George, NY (250 miles from home) IT
WORKED GREAT!
I got the idea to use that model from Bob Muenchausen(sp) who is a
regular on the MGB BBS. I got the vacuum canister, which is very small,
as recommended. The unit runs off the tach only w/o the magnet kit. The
major connections to the brake lights and main power were accomplished
using extra bullet connectors and existing connection points under the
hood. The only splicing required is to the lighting circuit if you want
the control unit to light up with dash lights.
The only change from the recommended set-up was to sent the sensing for
5000ppm rather 4000ppm because the unit would shut down at over 50mph
(also a factory recommendation).
Installation was faily simple. There is an extra bell crank on my ZS
presumably for a pull back cable and I was able to use it for the cruise
cable hook-up. If anyone is interested I can take some digital pics and
post them on my web site.
Oh yeah, I forgot one thing. The cost. I got this unit from JC Whitney
from a sale catalog for $69 (usually $99). The canister was another $10.
That's it. Don't buy the magnet kit because it is included with the unit
and you don't want to use it on the manual trans car anyway.
Hope this helps!
