I do not trust the oil pressure gauge in my '68B, one of the electric gauges
with the remote sender. In a post in the archive it was stated that the way
to test the gauge/sender is to fit another, nice if you have a spare ;-) I
don't. I would like to fit an additional mechanical gauge and can get a Sun
Pro oil pressure gauge with tubing, etc for about $20US at our local Pep
Boys. Here comes the question: What is the treading on the engine block and
the flex line that the remote sender screws into? The gauges come with
fittings but I'm not sure if they are useful or if I need to find adapters.
