I guess I'll put in my 2 cents here.  The HP numbers you have seen quoted in 
this tread certainly
are not power at the rear wheels.  A very fast racing B engine will have 80+ hp 
at the rear wheels,
60-80 is strong, 50-60 is more like a street car.
