I just noticed the Air compressor thread on the digest version, and thought
I would chime in AGAIN..
This is just an FYI to let people know what is out there..
For people wanting to run orbital sanders and other high CFM applications, I
would recommend getting one of the many 60gal units. They are avaiulable at
all the big hardware stores (Lowes, Home Depot, Harbor Frieght) for~$400.
Most are 100-115psi and flow around the 10CFM mark. I just bought one a few
months back and love it, it is single cylinder, ~6hp made by Portar cable
Inc.
Just thought I would share the info, Compressors are finally starting to
become a tool for we DIY guys. MAN does it make a huge difference, I have
no idea how I got along without it..
