Personally I would not buy anything from Campbell Hausfelt. 3 years ago I
bought
an HVLP system (~$400) from a CH dealer and it worked like charm. I used it
to paint
several cars and I really liked the way the spray gun worked UNTIL the gun
developed a small
leak which was traced to a the seal between the gun an the cup. I tried
several dealers to get
a replacement seal ($1.50) to no avail. Eventually I called CH direct with
the part number
and they told me that I could go to any CH dealer to order the part. So I
tried 3 more dealers
and they all refused to order the part as it was a waste of their time to
order just 1 part
which cost $1.50. Eventually I gave up and bought DeVilBiss HVLP gun and I
have a $400
boat anchor sitting in my garage.

I bought a MIG welder from Home Depot 2 years ago and have been very pleased
with it.
Even better is that there is a local welding shop nearby which carries the
line and spares
for the welder,.

Campbell Hausfeld has a factory rebuilt Mig Welder complete for $229.
Anybody
ever use this unit? Would I be wasting my money to purchase for occasional
use. The price sure is right.
