That's my guess.  Of the emissions junk that the MG Car Co installed
to my roadster in 1975, only the carbon cannisters (and related
fuel/evap lines) remain connected.  I don't miss the PCV valve or air
pump much though :)

Even more odd, the brake booster is disconnected too.  I don't really
miss it either, and it is amusing when people drive my car and tell me
the brakes don't work.  "Step harder, they work fine!"  Personally, I
like it that way.

:) At least in this case, the part in question is still on the car.
