Okay, with all the clues, and a little web searching, how 'bout the 'Family'
Lamborghini,  a Jarama 400 GTS?
Torqueflite trans, 12 cyl, 2+2 config, 0-60 in 6.5 sec and all of 150
produced between 1972 and 1976.
