Way off topic here, but this is the list with the most European auto
enthusiasts that I belong to, so I thought I'd ask here.

Coming home from work today, I passed going the other way one really
bizarre (for northern Ohio, at least) vehicle. It looked like a military
version of the cartoon Scooby Do's Mystery Machine. Really! It was about
the size of a VW Vanogen, or maybe shorter. Very high chassis with large,
but narrow knobbys, 4WD, olive drab green, OD canvas top, spare on the
tail gate, blunt, square nose, and no emblem that I could see in passing.
I thought it might be some variation of the G-Wagen, but they all have a
hood instead of blunt nosed, I think. Worst part was, that it had some
yuppy mom driving it with a bunch of kids. Go get a minivan, soccer mom!

Sorry, I can't help myself sometimes...
