Bravo, Dan! Not only do you have the good taste to own a '76, but your post
also hits the mark.

I also have 3 kids (16, 14, 10) a couple of whom are close to college (any
MG scholarships out there ?) a mortgage and 2 dogs. After driving the
family sedan ('89 Ford Temponator) for years, I decided to get something fun
on the side. For $2000 I was able to buy a running MG with a few dings in
the body and a few tears in the interior, but loaded with fun! Of course
someday I would like to get a paint job and rebuild the engine, but in the
mean time I just want to keep it running the best I can.

But today, it's going to be close to 60 deg F in the Seattle area, so I'm
putting the top down and driving my less-than-perfect MG out to play some
bad golf. (0-60 time not important)
