Several weeks ago I asked the list about 5 speed conversion. I
wanted to thank you all for your iinformation and experiences you've had
with 5 speeds.I finally decided on the high-gear, U.K. conversion
through Pierce Manafolds, they seemed to be very friendly and helpful.
when It come in my wife said I looked like a kid at Christmas.
Kia sent me some interesting information about a company that
rebuilds your overdrive and gives you 8 gear ratios. I have an
overdrive for my 71 mgb, and this would be a nice touch.
Several people refered me to a fellow named John Black, apparantly
he's the geru of LBC trans-conversions, I sure would like to talk to him
but, he's on an extended stay in the U.K.
