Hi Gang,

   all this talk about phosphoric acid got me thinking about how we used to 
clean
electrical connectors: Catsup, or Ketchup if you please.  Smear it on, let it 
set
a day, scrub it off.  Try this on a scrap connector first as it can be MESSY.
