Kevin, this is an excellent site. I should note that I still have the
original stapler issued to me when I started working for my current
employer on November 3, 1980. I am the original owner! I recently went to
put new staples in it, as it was empty, and figured, 'Okay, since I have
it open anyway maybe I'll just lubricate the hinge. Oh, and let me scrape
off this old 'Stolen from Dan DiBiase' sticker and put on a new one. Hmmm,
perhaps I ought to touch up this little scratch on the top, too. And the
chrome could use some polish...'. Well, pretty soon, I had disassembled
the entire thing and am now trolling eBay to get some new and used parts
cheap. I hope to have it back in one piece and stapling again by the
spring of 2003.
