I just rebuilt mine and painted them. I know you can see any part of them
but technically if they are sealed with something they're in the process of
rusting. Mine were pretty bad off but I sand blasted them and by the time I
was done they looked brand new.

Hi, gang. British Car Week has been a wash-out so far for me 8( - but
better days are coming tomorrow, I hope!

Just finished cleaning off the seat rails/slides for the '65B. They had
some surface rust on them which I wire-brushed off. I believe these were
unpainted metal 'from the factory'.... Since they had a little corrosion
on them, I'm wondering if I ought to paint them or leave them as-is. Any
suggestions?

I know it's not Friday yet but MY week-end plans are to replace the front
bushings on the '76B and hopefully start putting the '65B seats back
together (yes, FINALLY, Ed!!)... So, while I may not be driving my car (so
far) this week (that's not true, I did get out on Saturday) I am working
on them!
