Hi,
For what it's worth, we've had our '66 MGB for 22 years now and it's been
fitted with a plastic fan for the entire time.
I agree with one respondant that the fan has a "truer" airfoil than the metal
fans, but I also think they're less prone to fatigue failure.
I know you've been getting a host of opinions and sometimes this makes a
clear decison virtually impossible.......good luck.
