Rear Hub Seal

It occured to me that it might be a good idea to replace my leaky rear
hub seal before taking the MG to the track next weekend. Lubricated
brakes might not wear out as quickly, but they can cause other parts,
such as fenders to wear out much more quickly.

I do not have the shop that I would like, and found myself without the
proper tool to press said seal into the appropriate flange. A bit of
research determined that this procedure could be done using a bench
vice and a 4 fl oz. can of Fix brand Wood Patch, being exactly the
right diameter to cup said seal to press it squarely into the flange.

I replaced the seal in the same orientation as the old one, as well as
the one on the other side, which was flat side out, cupped side (with
the springy thing) in. Just out of curiousity, is this right?
