I am not sure about the B fan in particular (mine has a metal 3-blader that
suggests WWII armored car cockpit ventilation), but many if not most
multi-bladed radiator fans I've seen have asymmetrical blades. I don't know
the reason, I just imagined it was to avoid harmonic vibrations or
something. But I'm sure it isn't keyed to the pulley for balance purposes.
