MufflerTemperature

I'm squeezing a set of extractors into my TC. The muffler sits best right next
to the brake master cylinder.
The wet boiling point of my brake fluid is 500 degrees F. I'm worried about
heat transfer to the fluid and reckon that it's probably too much of a risk.

What do you reckon the surface temperature of a muffler would run at?
