Would the tachometer from a MGB-V-8 work? They  were suppossedly made from 
1973 (late '72) until 1976. The Tach and other "goodies" should be be ok to 
use. Ask Moss or British Vickie about the possibility of swapping the Tachs 
or if you could use the same Tach with a resister change? Albert Escalante
