in Florida's Capital City on November 2 - 4, 2001.
Prime Minister J.P. Brown and the Big Bend MGs invite you to
Rendezvous in beautiful Tallahassee and join in the funfilled and
educational weekend. See the seasonal color of the North Florida
country and see what the other attendees' MGs look like; hear from
Gus about his deportation along with a technical tip or two (articles
seen in Tally Ho, British Marque, etc.); and take the great driving
tour of the seven hills of the city and visit the new Tallahassee
Antique Car Museum or a sidetrip to the Appalachicola Seafood
Festival.
You may win a door prize of a Get-Away-Weekend for two to any of
these great resorts: Boardwalk Beach Resort, Panama City Beach;
Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort, St. Petersburg; Radisson Plaza Hotel
Orlando, Orlando; Sheraton Suites Plantation (Fort Lauderdale West),

is located. Or, head North just 14 miles to Havana, Florida, a scenic
tobacco town that has turned to antiques and collectibles.
I-10 drops you right at the front door of the host hotel, Ramada
Inn Tallahassee, giving you instant access to sightseeing, shopping
and dining. The Ramada is at the intersection of I-10 and US-27 just
North of the Heart of the City. A full service hotel with electronic
key access, in-room voice mail, telephone data ports, king/double
bedrooms or suites with more amenities, fine dining, nice lounge with

reservations "down & out" in building "B" or "C". ("B" is closer to
the display area.) Rendezvous Hospitality and Registration room is
in "B1217" and open until 9:30 pm on Friday. Come to Tallahassee
early or extend your stay (Ramada) will honor the Rendezvous pricing
3 days before and after Rendezvous.
Friday Evening - November 2:
Upon arrival at the Ramada Inn, join us in the hospitality room
"B1217" where you will find Rendezvous Registration, complimentary
beverages and snacks. We invite you to bring auction items. Drop off
your Auction items here. Hospitality room will be open until 9:30 pm.
The Bar-B-Que picnic, 6 to 7:30 pm, will be held adjacent to the
hospitality room and car display area. Raffle Ticket Sales begin.
Saturday Morning - November 3:
Hospitality Room opens at 7 am.
Complimentary Coffee, Tea, Juice and Pastry.
MG Flea Market, Regalia. Raffle ticket sales continue.
MGs displayed on the Grass and People's Choice voting begins at 10 am
(deposit ballots in box in display area by 4 pm.)
Gus of Gus's Garage reports on his deportation and maybe a technical
tip or two (His articles appeared in Tally Ho, British Marque, etc.).
Saturday Afternoon - November 3:
MGs display continues and People's Choice voting continues, (deposit
ballots in box in display area by 4 pm.)
Raffle ticket sales continue.
Scenic driving tours of beautiful Tallahassee.
Powder Puff Mechanics Tech Session.
Saturday Evening - November 3:
6 pm. Cocktail hour - Cash Bar - auction/raffle.
7 pm. Dinner and Guest Speaker.

for great prizes at the banquet!
Peoples Choice Awards then auction/raffle.
Door prize drawings for several Get-Away-Weekends, etc.
