Guys,

I am about to fit PiperCross ram tubes and filters (cheaper than K&N and
supposedly just about as good according to 'independent tests:-) to my
HS4s, but am concerned about getting the filter baseplace to sit flush
with the carbies. The problem being the pipes out the front of the float bowls.

Do I need to fit spacers to allow the filter baseplate to sit flush?

I guess if you don't know/haven't fitted these filters yourself you may
not know what I mean but I'm sure someone out there is using PiperCross.
