One of the replies I got about the wavy needle made me thinking:
is it possible to have the inner speedo cable replaced from the inside of the
car. This would save a lot of difficult work.

As I'll have no lease car per March 1st and we have 4 children, I'm looking
for a second hand MPV to buy.
The European make MPV's are quite expensive, so I have the choice of two US
makes:
Pontiac Trans Sport
Chrysler Voyager
I'm looking for vehicles over 5 years old, which are in an acceptable price
class.
For those to car types: where should I look for, what should I avoid, what
typical problems has each car, what engine type is the best choice (i.e. to
have the least problems with), how reliable is the airco, what milage can I
the engine is working allright.
