Ran across a guy who has owned the car for 15 yrs, and knew the previous
owner owned it for 30yrs. He states that the wood and interior is perfect
and that is starts and runs well. He suspects the rubber would need to be
replaced simply due to age. Says is has been painted (didn't say who) and
is black with red leather. Needs new top and top bow. Side curtains are in
good shape and has a tonneau. No sign of rust anywhere. Says odometer
reads 4500 mi, but doubts it's actual.
Car is located in SE Michigan. I have no financial interest in this car,
and have never met the owner, only spoken to him on the phone.

I would be willing to go look at it and give more of an opinion...in fact I
plan on going to look at it anyway. He says he would like to get what he
has in it...$10k.
I would be interested, but even if I could scrounge up the $$$$, my wife
would certainly not give her blessing, especially given it would take her
spot in the garage.
