Wow, can a pothole really damage an engine bearing? I went over a trench
across a county road that had only been partially filled in with gravel. It
was such a terrible jolt that my back was sore for several days. When I went
back to take some pictures of the "chasm", it was already paved over. I
never detected any damage to the TD (not even the cheese-whiz alloy wheels).
My back got better also, but I'm still mad at the county for their gross
negligence. I hope someone sued their ass.
