I know I've received a Canadian check and couldn't cash it. Don't know how it
works the other way around, but I suspect it won't work. I bought some seat
covers from Barrie off the list and sent him cash wrapped in paper, probably
due to the check incompatability problem.

On a related note, what is the best way to send money out of country? In
this case, another lister in Canada told me to send him a check for some
used car parts. Can I send a standard US bank check to him? Another
Canadian lister that I have dealt with just sends and receives US dollars
through the mail to/from the states. I'm not sure that I trust the US
postal service that much.
