First off track down a copy of Peter Burgess's book on Power tuning the MGB
engine. Great reference for all your questions. I went all around on what cam
to go with and ended up going a totally diff direction than what I had planned.
I purchased a reprofiled cam from Lawrie Alexander (theres your opening
Lawrie). I believ it was a 272 duration cam. I am Very happy with how it all
came together for my car. I used .060 dished pistons I got from Northwest
Import Parts in Portland, OR.
The other good thing you could do is call the guys at Brit-Tek. They are famous
for working with you on what you should have. They have famous customer service.
All of these above mentioned people have good websites, I am in a rush here so
you will just have to google them.
