On this tragic day, I recall my numerous crossings & flights I did
across the USA & Canada. I made lifelong friendships with my American
colleagues, which created a lot of anguish when this abominable act
happened.

I also have a large family in the States who also were in shock on
learning of the event.

Fire fighters from our detachment in Vancouver British Columbia,
collected money for the families of the victims, went to New York where
they were extremely well received.
One of the photographs which flashed world wide, was a Canadian fire
fighter standing in a memorial ceremony, with tears flowing down his
rigid cheeks.

The other was of a Canadian woman, who, while playing her violin also at
a ceremony, also had t a large tear drip down her cheek.

People are people wherever we live & to have a lunatic saying, 'If you
don't pray at my church, you wont pray at all' attempting to dictate how
our lives should be, smacks of some of the infamous lunatics we have had
in this century.

My family & I wish all, the strength to withstand the horror & continue
our lives as close to normal as possible, thus preventing any hint of
success they might have had.

Sincerely,

Aubrey
