I'm pretty sure you are in the US, cos this information isn't correct for a
Euro Spec car.

Just as on an MGB of that year, you really can't tell without crawling under
the car.

The RH Steering column stalk activates the wipers and is a push/pull switch
for the OD.  The same switch is used on both OD and Non OD cars.


Get under and look for the lump at the back of the transmission.  It's the
only way to be sure.

Better yet.  Hopefully the car is drivable.
