Thanks to all those who have responded. I hope you all appreciate how
valuable the information you are providing is to me. These message
boards are something.
One more question:
Does the J type overdrive bolt onto a non-overdrive transmission? The
reason I ask is that my "complete" 73 is non-Overdrive. If put some
money in its transmission, and then get a 68-71 parts car with an OD for
my BMH body shell, will I be able to use the OD with the restored 73
non-OD transmission?
