Norton finds Klez, it can't repair it since the entire thing is the 
virus. It
wants to quarentine it, and asks you.

It is generally suffient for existing  known viruses. It usually takes a 
day or
so for them to figure out new viruses. So it's important to download new
virus definitions regularly.
