I expect that the ratio will vary with horsepower, suspension setup
etc. but, on track MGBs do you normally see more wear on the front
tires or the rear? I thought that I had seen more wear on my rear
tires, so I put the tires with more tread on the rear for last weekend
and now the kumhos on my front wheels are nearly slicks.
Fortunately I found a pair of kumhos, already mounted, in my
shed. They won't be optimal, but should work for an open track day. I
just want to position the tires for optimal life.
I really ought to start measuring tread depth at the end of every
track day.

I've found something worse than oldies station that play the music I used to
listen to. Oldies stations that play the "new" music I used to complain about.
