Their site shows a bunch of different cars, some of which are nice-looking
MGBs for $20-$30K each. I'm trying to figure out their business
model. Maybe they convince the buyer that (1) it's comparable in price to
any other brand-new convertible on the road, and (2) unlike those cars, the
MGB is a classic that will appreciate in value. And even if they get their
asking price, I still don't understand how they can do a show restoration
on a car and get anything close to their money out of it, even at $30K.
