I'd say he's dead wrong. The profit is in the other direction. A
five-thousand-dollar MG in the US is probably a five-thousand-pound MG in
the UK (if not more).
I don't think your friend realizes it's like importing coals to Newcastle --
there are far more MGs in the states than in the UK.
