Sort of off the marble a bit..but, I recently heard that the "Big"
Lamborghinis are named after famous fighting bulls. Those that won the
bullfights and as
a reward were allowed to live and breed.
But back to older cars and their names anyone remember the Marmon Wasp,
although not named after an animal. It did win the Indianapolis 500 with Ray
Harroun behind the wheel... in the days when two people rode in the race cars
...Before the restrictor plates!!
