I drove, but my MGA isn't done so I had to drive the Evil Dolphin-
Choking SUV instead. Unfortunately, I had to head home yesterday
after the excellent transmission tutorial. Too much stuff going on
here at work to take a full week off. Now I understand why so many
MGA owners are in their 60s - younger guys can't afford to take all
that time off! :-) I took quite a few pictures at the car show,
both "flat" and stereo pairs, and when I get them processed and
scanned in I'll put some up on a web page.

One of the best parts of the event was seeing MGAs everywhere!
Drive down to the local Thriftway and there's a half-dozen in the
parking lot. Head to the Zig Zag Inn for a pizza and there's
two or three parked out front. Drive up to Timberline Lodge on
Mt. Hood and you pass several. MGAs everywhere! The car show was
great, too. I tried to show a picture of my just-primered body
tub in place of the real item, but the officials good-naturedly
told me it needed to be a real car to be displayed.

Too bad these events are too often on the wrong side of the
continent.
