Actually both provided your talking about original SU. The round electrical
end partially fits in the hole in the boot and has a cover. the fuel fitting
end is in the well near the rear offside wheel. Most aftermarket ones (the
cube shaped pusher type) end up completely in the well or if they are
pullers under the bonnet.
