Don't let the identity of the current bidder imply anything about the
originality of the car. Wire Wheel Classic Sports Cars, Inc. is, I belive,
a buy/sell dealer. At the current bid price the car doesn't have to be a
bonafide original Sebring racer, just a nice vintage race car in very good
condition, and maybe that's all it is (maybe).

Even if such a car did exist, back in the day, this doesn't have to be the
same car. A really nice replica of such a creature could be worth $9K. My
question would be, if there never was any such thing in the past, would
this car still be worth the bid? And of course there's the question of
morality about misrepresenting the thing, if indeed it is not real as
claimed. But if the price doesn't go too high for a replica (or a fake),
who should care if it's real or original?

Just a thought.
