"motor-head" destinations.
The Peterson Auto Museum is not to be missed. It is one of the best things a
car guy or gal can do while in LA. I drop in almost every time I'm in Los
Angeles and I never get tired of the exhibits. Everything from brass era to
low riders. There's a huge hot rod collection and their special shows are
always amazing. I mean, a Jaguar XKSS!! Crikey!
On 3524 Magnolia in Burbank is "Autobooks", one of the largest auto
bookstores in the US. Just about every car and automotive subject is
represented and if you go on Saturday it's pretty much a sure bet that Jay
Leno will show up with some nut-ball car of his. His warehouse is nearby and
he loves to drop by to yack about cars and give people rides. Neat, huh?
