The B was always classed as a 4-speed, even with OD. OD was available as an
option on all cars from early 63, was standard on UK cars from June 75,
standard on other RHD cars from June 76, but was always optional on North
American cars. Presumably a top speed of 55 mph didn't warrant it ;o)
