Bob,

I supply the O-rings used in such gauges and have found that even 
established restorers do not always use the correct rings.  Just recently a 
lister bought a 'refurbished' Jaeger gauge (but labelled 'Smiths') and it 
had the 60mm gauge-to-dash ring instead of the 100mm one - no big deal but 
it would have deteriorated much quicker as it was stretched.  Incidentally, 
I find that Jaeger's are often labelled Smiths.
