| I've recently gotten my 79 B back on the road (thanks to Steve and Gordie), and found that the tachometer pegs when the key is turned on, and stays there. As I write this, I recall that I have a couple of white/green striped wires not connected to the new coil. (The car runs without them.) Maybe one of them is the culprit? In a quick look at the wiring diagram in the red manual, I don't see wires that color going to the tach, but maybe I've misread it. -- Keith Gernert 79 MGB -- |
