Are you sure it's not BP? According to Neil Cairns, there are lots of
BP15xxxx applications, but I couldn't find a BR in his listings. BP15GBxxxx
denotes the 68hp B-series engine as used in the MGA. The same engine, sans
tach drive, for the Z-series Magnette is BR15GA (ZA-Magnette) and GC
(ZB-Magnette).
There is a listing for: 15RB, which is the 1500 B-series prepared for Riley.
I would be curious to hear what more you might find out about it.
