Bernie:

The earlier radiator has the top hose on the right hand side, as viewed
from the cockpit.

>From 1968 on the cars had an air pump mounted on the right hand side of
the engine, so the radiator had to have the fitting moved to the left
hand side.

The filler neck is also different. The earlier radiator has the filler
cap as pictured in the Moss catalog, set back from the upper tank. The
68-75 filler cap is in the center of the upper tank.


Because of these changes, the radiator support is also slightly
different to match the fittings.

If you don't have to worry about the air pump, the two radiators with
appropriate support can be interchanged with the change of the
thermostat housing.
  


There does not appear to be any big difference in cooling capacity
between the two, although the early, deep radiator cap is limited to
7lbs.

does anyone know the difference between the 1962 to 1967 model and the
68 to
75 model radiator, I see that Moss list's them separately, just
wondering what
the difference is.
