For what year, make, model car? In general, I've had good success with Moss
for my 69 MGC and my 70 MGB. I've had sporadic success with rebuilds. My 69 C
just went through a Clutch MC that was rebuilt by White Post. Fortunately, I
had a new spare in the tool box from Moss. I will be returning this one to
White Post as they are guaranteed for life. I also had a Brake MC rebuilt by
National Auto go bad and they guarantee for life as well but at a lot cheaper
price. It was like $40.00 for the rebuild. I took it back a year later with no
problem. So far it is holding up.

Are there any recommendations out there for a replacement? :-)

I see a Lockheed brand for 104.95 and one branded "Classic Gold" for 54.95.

  Thanks,
  Pat
