Oh, absolutely, there are MGs for sale in local papers all over the country.

But you will be hard put to find any metal dash cars this way, apart from
the occasional restored example for a premium price.

What you WILL see in the classifieds is an ad saying "MG - Wanted - MG
Triumph Austin-Healey Jaguar - Any condition (etc.)"

So, possibly, these dealers are picking off a lot of cars that might have
been destined for local sale.
