I can see the good intentions in what you're hoping to do, but I'm not
optimistic. Speaking for myself, if I was buying a car, I wouldn't buy
any car where anyone had any say over what I could and could not do with
it, unless it was very rare or incredibly cheap. I'd just go and find
another seller who would let me do what I want with my car.
Think of the plus side of US cars being exported - buyers in other
countries are getting an opportunity to join in our delightful hobby.
Since by far the majority of the cars went to the USA in the first
place, it's about time they had a chance to join in!
